The Ogden City Council invites high school and college students living in Ogden to compete in the Council’s first-ever student video contest. The Council is asking contestants to create an engaging short video describing the City’s budget process.
The Council will award $500 for first place, $250 for second place and two $100 prizes for honorable mention.
“This is a great opportunity for students to learn more about the Council’s most important policy-making tool while using their creativity to produce an engaging video that all residents can learn from,” Council Chair Marcia White said. “We are very excited to see what they come up with.”
All interested individuals are invited to learn more at a non-mandatory pre-submission meeting on Friday, March 31st at 4:00 p.m. on the third floor of the Ogden Municipal Building, 2549 Washington Boulevard. Information is also available on the Council’s website.
