Family Fun at Ogden Parks Monday Night Movies is back, with a twist
May 25, 2021 – Ogden, UT – Ogden City Arts, Culture, and Events is pleased to announce that Monday Night Movies will return in 2021. This series is no longer held at the Ogden Amphitheater on 25th street but instead throughout Ogden City. It is a fun and exciting way for families to enjoy popular movies while exploring Ogden parks. Two movies will be shown each month in June, July, and August, launching June 7th.
Ogden Amphitheater Coordinator, Derek Williamson, said “The last year has been hard to feel engaged, especially when downtown events are so far from home. With all that in mind, our team decided to bring some of that programming to various neighborhoods. This year, Monday Night Movies will happen in six parks in different parts of Ogden. Attendees are encouraged to bring a picnic and blankets, and we will bring the big TV and rockin’ sound system! Join us for all six or just a few of your favorite titles: there will be plenty of room for everyone.”
Attendees can bring blankets and chairs and are encouraged to be respectful of those who are sitting around them. Food, coolers, and service animals are allowed but be sure to clean up afterward. Alcohol is not allowed at the parks. Arrive early to claim the best spot. Bathrooms are available at all parks. As always everything is subject to change.
