#drivesafeogden - Speeding Enforcement Ramping Up

stop speeding

During this time of COVID with kids in and out of school, the Ogden Police Department would like to remind you to watch for crossing guards, school zones and pedestrians throughout the city.  The Ogden Police Traffic Division has increased traffic enforcement in some of our main areas such as Harrison Blvd, 12th street and Monroe Blvd.  We would also like to remind you that when a crossing guard steps from the curb and their stop sign is up, both directions of travel must come to a complete stop.  Also, where flashing yellow lights are present, there will be zero tolerance for speeds over 20 MPH, and we would urge people to travel under this speed during low light conditions, bad weather or anytime children are present.
