The Ogden Marathon, has been rated by Runner's World as one of the Top Ten Marathons in the world. This scenic course starts at an elevation of 5400 ft. with open roads, green fields and a beautiful gushing river. This gentle downhill is why Runner's World named it One of the Best Courses in America for First - Time Marathon Runners.
The final half goes around Pineview Reservoir then drops into Ogden Canyon where you will run along the roaring Ogden River with breathtaking views of pine covered slopes. Exiting the canyon, you run onto the Ogden River Parkway, past Dinosaur Park and the Utah State University Botanical Gardens.
The course ends downtown on Historic 25th street at an elevation of 4,309 Ft. The Ogden Marathon is USA Track & Field Certified & Sanctioned as well as a Boston qualifier.
