[ARCHIVED] Harvest Moon Celebration

HM17

The Harvest Moon Celebration is an annual farewell to summer event on Historic 25th Street.

The Historic 25th Street Association will host the 16th annual Harvest Moon Celebration on September 23rd starting at noon. The day is made up of live music, entertainment, arm wrestling, pumpkin decorating and more than twenty children’s activities with support from Weber County RAMP, local non-profits, and on-street businesses. Nearly 27,000 people participated in the event last year, with more expected for 2017.

Entrance to the event is free. Kid’s activities are open from Noon to 5 pm. Community partners supporting these activities include the Ogden Nature Center, Liquid Canvas, Nurture the Creative Mind, Eccles Community Art Center and more. Activities range from a rock climbing wall, make and take craft projects, face painting, and an opportunity to participate in a community art project.

The event is hosted and produced by the Ogden Downtown Alliance, a nonprofit, and features local businesses, community partners, and live entertainment. We do not accept vendor applications for this event.

Food will be available from participating on-street restaurants. Beer and wine will be available at designated beverage stations for guests 21+. Coolers are not allowed into the Celebration and will be checked at entry points.

Pets will not be allowed on the street, with the exception of service animals.
