The Ogden City Council recently adopted a zoning ordinance text amendment regarding permitted and conditional uses and design standards in the M-1 and M-2 industrial zones. M-1 and M-2 zones are located on the west side of Ogden. See the map on this page.
The amendments did the following:
Prohibit new junk and salvage yards, rebuildable car lots, and recycling collection centers.
Allow manufactured home sales displays.
Modify setback, height, and lot coverage standards.
Establish design standards for new industrial buildings.
Establish landscape buffer standards between industrial and residential uses.
