On April 4, 2023, Ogden adopted a zoning ordinance change that modified allow
able heights in R-3 Multiple-family zones and adjacent to single-family residential or open space zones.
The ordinance:
- Amended the zoning ordinance to set a maximum height of four stories or 50 feet in the R-3 Zone; and
- Modified transition standards to require additional setbacks for buildings over 35 feet high adjacent to single-family residential or open space zones.
