Arts and Crafts
We have something for everyone! Are you looking for a creative outlet, at the center we have number of arts and crafts classes and groups for you to participate in.
ART
Freedom to choose various art techniques including drawing and painting. This open studio gives artists the opportunity to work on any piece of artwork of their choosing. A great time to visit with other artists and share ideas!
When: Tues & Thurs 10am—2 pm
Cost: Included W/ Membership
POTTERY
Come learn how to create your masterpiece on a pottery wheel. Includes instruction, clay, firing and glazes.
August Session: Aug 5th- Aug 26th
When: Friday 2:00—4pm
Cost: $15 per 4-week Session (6 students/session)
LAPIDARY
Lapidary is the art of forming cabochons (a polished gem) by cutting, grinding, and polishing stone, and/or gemstones. The 1st class of the month is for new students. You will work with an instructor to help you learn how to do all of those cool things! 2nd week, through end of the month, is Open Lab with limited instruction
When: Tuesdays 4:30—8 pm
Cost: Open Lab $3 members; $5 non-members
New student Class is Free W/Membership
SILVERSMITHING
In silversmithing you will learn how to solder, saw, and file shapes, forming and joining, ring sizing, polishing and basic stone setting. You will work closely with the instructor to learn how to do all those neat things! New students on the 1st and 3rd Thursday of the month, regular students 2nd and 4th Thursday of the month, and 5th Thursday is open lab- no instruction. New student class is currently full; if you would like to join the waitlist for the next session, contact us!

Cost: $3 for Members $5 for Non-Members
