About the Speakers:
Emily Larsen Emily Larsen is a Utah based curator, museum educator, researcher, and artist. She currently works as the Head of Exhibitions and Programs at the Springville Museum of Art. She is pursuing an M.A. in U.S. History at the University of Utah where her research and writing focuses on Utah artists and the Utah art scene c1880-1950.
Heather Belnap Heather Belnap is an Associate Professor of Art History and European Studies Coordinator at Brigham Young University. Her area of specialization is women, art, and culture from 1750 to the present. A committed advocate for the advancement of women in the arts, Belnap’s service includes representing the state of Utah in The Feminist Art Project. Among her various projects is a book on Minerva Teichert, which will be published with the University of Illinois Press in 2023.
