Commissioner Snow

Roger Snow

Roger Snow has spent the majority of his career as an educator serving the Ogden community.  He was an Engineering and Technology teacher at Ogden High School for several years before being appointed as an Assistant Principal at Ben Lomond High School and stayed in that position for 3 years before serving as the District STEM Specialist.  Most recently, Roger served as the Vice President of Instructional Services at the Ogden-Weber Technology College where he was able to continue his support for community members by helping them increase their career opportunities through direct training programs. In each of his positions he has increased his connection to all community members with an increased focus on increasing education and employment opportunities for the Latino community.  He worked to bring the Latinos in Action program to the Ogden School District as well as working with the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce to support their Business Academy program.  Roger continues his efforts to help the community as an educator at Md. Fort Junior High School where his biological children attend along with his many "school children."  Roger is excited to help increase the support to the city provided by the Diversity Commission and utilize his network and skills in workforce development to help our industry partners strengthen their companies by accessing the wealth of skills our diverse community possesses
