Information Technology & Software

Information technoloy equipment

Ogden is home to a new and emerging industry cluster in information technology & software. In addition to this industry growth, a skilled software workforce is found across several other industries, such as aerospace (e.g., Northrop Grumman) and financial services (e.g., Wex, Inc.).

Additionally, new tech companies are starting and growing in the Ogden area, thanks to initiatives such as the Startup Ogden coworking space and Weber State University's robust computer science programs.

Tech companies in the Ogden area are able to pull from the Wasatch Front’s large pool of highly skilled labor – without the intense competition that exists further south.
