Comcast Cares Day

Comcast sponsors a volunteer project each year.   They provide materials, tools, drinks, lunch and breakfast for volunteers. They also give the City grant money for each volunteer that participates.  This money is used to support other volunteer projects all year long. 

Join us on Saturday, April 27th for our 5th annual Comcast Cares project.

This years projects include:
    The Ogden Dog Park - weeding, spreading mulch, trimming bushes and trees, lay sod
     The Fort Disc Golf Course - trimming trees and bushes, spreading mulch
    The Weber Parkway Trail - general cleanup, trimming of trees and bushes
    Trackline Bike Park - weed control, building trails and bike obstacles
    Neighborhood cleanup - painting fire hydrants, locating water meter stickers, washing windows, trash cleanup, sweeping, weed control, tree and bush trimming

When: Saturday, April 27th
              7am to 8am - breakfast, registration and project assignment
              8am to noon - work on projects
              noon to 1pm - lunch
Where: Miles Goodyear Park - 2452 A Avenue - registration in the pavilion near the ball diamonds

Can't make it out on April 27th, no problem.    Gather a few of your friends, neighbors or co-workers and let us know when you are available to do a project.   We have an entire list of projects for you to choose from or you can complete your own project and we will provide support.
