It's time again for Baseball and Softball!

Recreation Youth Baseball/Softball/T-Ball Leagues

Leagues are offered for boys and girls ages 5-16 (age determined as of April 30th of the current year of season). These leagues range from T-ball to Senior Baseball and Fast Pitch. All are designed to have each player enjoy the game of baseball and learn the skills for their age.

Registration begins February 4th and ends April 9th. After this date a $10 late fee will be charged (no guarantee of openings after this date). A birth certificate is required at the time of registration for new participants.. All players receive a shirt and a hat as part of the program. Games will be played on weeknights at local parks. Play begins in May. Fee Reduction assistance is available for lower income families.

Coaches Needed!

Would you like to be a coach? Volunteer coaches will be required to take an online Clinic from the Babe Ruth Youth Baseball Organization and the American Sport Education Program. All fees for this program will be paid by the Recreation Office. Applications must be filled out and all training courses must be completed. Background checks will be conducted for each volunteer coach on a yearly basis. All coaches must complete an application by mid April. The Recreation Office always needs coaches, so get certified today!

Start Smart

Come join the Start Smart Baseball Class! This class is designed for children ages 3 and 4 years old. This exciting class will teach basic baseball skills in a non-competitive way and without the fear of getting hurt. This class is for you and your child to get prepared for organized T-ball and baseball. This class will be offered on a first-come, first-serve basis with registration limited to 16 participants per class. Only two classes will be offered for this program, Cost is $40 for both you and your child and includes a "Baseball Participant Kit" -1 bat and ball set, 1 glove, 1 koosh ball, 1 mondo koosh ball, and 1 participant manual.
