Hampton Inn - (SW corner of 24th and Washington - complete)

The David Eccles Building, constructed in 1913, is an eight-story 90,000 square foot building designed by noted architect Leslie Hodgeson.  This landmark building had fallen into disrepair and was eventually boarded up.  Originally an office building, the structure is now a beautiful hotel and restaurant.  This project preserved one of Ogden's finest historic buildings by preserving the decorative exterior architecture while providing a unique atmosphere with interior finishes.  Located next door to the Eccles Conference Center and Peery Egyptian Theater, the Plaza Hotel provides a quality lodging and dining experience for the business traveler or out-of-town visitor.
