Ogden Schools see Dramatic Spike in Student Proficiency Scores and celebrate with a PartyWednesday, September 19, 2012 Students of Ogden City schools have reason to celebrate with their dramatic spike in test scores! |
Students of Ogden city have been getting a lot of attention lately for their dramatic improvement over their test scores- especially in language arts. According to the Standard Examiner, these improvements were due to several school improvement grants, hard-working teachers, parents and tutors who implemented new ways of teaching not only in the classroom but at home as well. Based on the state's Criterion-Referenced Tests, or CRTs, the proficiency in reading and language arts has increased by two digits. Giving them reason to celebrate, they were rewarded for their hard work with a party on Monday the 17th at the Ogden School District Campus with games, prizes, free food and even a book to take home.
