Ogden is engaged in a renaissance. Our economy continues to develop with a technology and manufacturing focus. Our High Tech Center will provide advanced technology-oriented university degrees in a setting with high tech business and research. With 140 acres planned or under development, the downtown is coming alive. Ogden was a major site for the Olympics, hosting the Downhill and Super G races, as well as Olympic Curling.
Ogden is well known in Utah and the West for its ethnic diversity. Strong neighborhoods, government offices, great business and employment opportunities, and an excellent commercial center have all contributed to Ogden's status as the Top of Utah's regional capitol. The mountains and rivers provide extensive recreational opportunities for skiing, bicycling, hiking, kayaking, and other adventures.
