Business Information Center

The Business Information Center (BIC) is a business resource library equipped with seven computer workstations, books, videos, and reference guides to assist in developing a business plan, promotional materials, office templates, financial statements, and IRS tax forms and publications. The BIC is designed to assist start-up and existing businesses considering expansion, seeking financial assistance, selling their business or in need of business counseling.

Ogden City is partnering with SCORE, and Weber State University Small Business Development Center (SDBC).

Clients may meet with business counselors of the Service Corps of Retired Executives (SCORE). SCORE is a volunteer organization providing individualized counseling at the BIC.

There will also be educational classes, and assistance in creating business plans, taught by Weber State University Small Business Development Center.

At this location Ogden City Business Development will be a Seller-Servicer for Fannie Mae Mortgage Products, originating and funding these loans. Ogden City will provide information and assistance on the Small Business Loans available that the City offers to help bring new business to Ogden. Ogden City will be originating small business loans for businesses located in Ogden City both for existing and start-up small businesses.
